Stephen Schueller

Stephen Schueller is a Professor of Psychological Science and Informatics at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), affiliated with the School of Social Ecology. He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Riverside, and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, with clinical training at UCSF. His research focuses on clinical psychology, mobile health (mHealth), implementation science, and digital mental health interventions, emphasizing equity and accessibility. He leads projects like the SUPERA study, co-designing culturally responsive mental health tools for underserved populations. Schueller is also involved in the Connected Learning Lab and the Institute for Future Health, advancing technology-driven mental health solutions.
