Stephen Sammut

Stephen Sammut is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where he has taught 11,000+ students over nearly 30 years. He designed eight specialized courses in healthcare entrepreneurship and private equity, while also serving as visiting faculty at the Indian School of Business and Strathmore University Business School in Nairobi, where he established healthcare management MBA programs.

He has contributed to academic literature through three publications analyzing cross-sector healthcare innovation and private equity applications in developing economies.

Currently serving as chair of Alta Semper Capital's Industry Advisory Board and former venture partner at Burrill & Company, Sammut connects capital markets with health technology ventures through his teaching and advisory roles. He has consulted for the IFC and World Bank on technology transfer and venture capital frameworks.
