معرفی
Stephen McKeown is an Assistant Professor of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), affiliated with the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. His research focuses on differential geometry, geometric analysis, partial differential equations, and their interactions with mathematical physics, particularly through the AdS/CFT correspondence. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Washington (2016), a J.D. from Yale Law School (2010), and dual B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the University of North Texas (2007).
Dr. McKeown’s work addresses geometric structures on singular spaces, such as domains with corners and asymptotically hyperbolic Einstein metrics. Key topics include renormalized volume calculations, extrinsic curvature analysis, and conformal invariants. He currently leads the UTD Geometry, Topology, and Dynamics seminar and co-organized the 2022 conference Conformal Geometry, Analysis, and Physics in Seattle. His research is supported by a Simons Foundation grant (2022–2027) for studying conformal submanifold geometry.
He is actively mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in research projects related to geometric PDEs and singular spaces. Contact: Stephen.McKeown@utdallas.edu | Office: Founder’s 2.604B.
