Stephen H. Foulger is a Professor at Clemson University in the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences, holding the Gregg-Graniteville Endowed Chair. He has a joint appointment in the Department of Bioengineering since 2012. His research focuses on polymer physics, multifunctional materials, and biomedical nanotechnologies.

The Foulger Research Group is based at Clemson’s Advanced Materials Research Laboratories in Anderson, SC, which houses state-of-the-art equipment in a 111,000 sq. ft. facility. His work bridges materials science with bioengineering, emphasizing multifunctional nanosystems.
