Dr. Stephen Czarnuch is an Associate Professor with joint appointments in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He directs the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and co-chairs the joint Masters of Applied Science in Software Engineering and Masters of Artificial Intelligence. His research focuses on biomedical engineering, computer vision, and machine learning applied to healthcare, gerontology, and public safety.
