Stephen Chen

Stephen Chen is an Associate Professor in York University's School of Information Technology, specializing in metaheuristic optimization techniques. His research investigates particle swarm optimization, evolutionary computation, and hybrid search algorithms for complex problems.

Research Focus: Algorithm behavior analysis, dimensionality challenges in optimization, swarm intelligence frameworks, and real-world applications in energy/scheduling systems.
