Stephen A. LeMay serves as an Associate Professor of Marketing and Supply Chain Logistics in the Department of Marketing, Supply Chain Logistics and Economics at the University of West Florida's Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business. He also holds affiliation as a Fellow of the Social Science Research Center at Mississippi State University and is a KCG External Research Fellow at the Kiel Centre for Globalization since March 2019.
His research focuses on critical issues in supply chain management including Factor Market Rivalry in Supply Chains, Ethics in Supply Chains and the Moral Supply Chain, Truck Driver Turnover, Human Resource Issues in Supply Chains, and Consumer Roles in Supply Chains. LeMay has extensive expertise with special emphasis on human resources, supply chain management and ethics, as well as customer and consumer relevant moral issues.
His recent publication in the Journal of Global Ethics (2021) examines the relationship between China's Belt and Road Initiative and global ethical standards. The article represents his broader research interest in how international business initiatives intersect with ethical frameworks and global governance structures.
LeMay has published more than 50 refereed academic articles in prominent journals including the Logistics and Transportation Review, the Journal of Business Logistics, the International Journal of Logistics Management, and the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management.
