Her extensive publication record shows consistent focus on Muslim communities in Germany, with recent work examining labor market discrimination against Muslims, political trust, mosque archives, and the intersection of Islamic norms with daily life. She has co-authored major research reports including 'Muslim Life in Germany' (2009) and 'Muslimisches Leben in Nordrhein-Westfalen' (2011), and has contributed to the Yearbook of Muslims in Europe as editor.
Dr. Müssig teaches courses including 'Political Economy of the Middle East' and 'Religion und Gesellschaft in vergleichender Perspektive,' demonstrating her commitment to academic education alongside research activities. Her work bridges political science, sociology, and religious studies to provide empirical insights into the integration of Muslim communities in German society.
