Dr. Stephanie Hughes is a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton's School of Psychology. She holds a PhD focusing on the impact of significant others in active surveillance for prostate cancer. Her expertise spans qualitative research in healthcare, with a focus on self-management strategies, digital health interventions, and the role of interpersonal relationships in illness. She has contributed to multiple interdisciplinary projects since 2012, including initiatives addressing irritable bowel syndrome, osteoarthritis, and cancer care.
