Stephanie Guilherme

Stephanie Guilherme is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ottawa. She holds an adjunct professor appointment at École supérieure d’aménagement du territoire et de développement régional, Université Laval (since January 2020).

• PhD from Université Laval (2014)

Her research focuses on drinking water quality in small/isolated systems, particularly developing water treatment technologies and monitoring strategies for Indigenous northern communities. Ongoing projects target Nunavik (Québec) and integrate environmental engineering with Arctic-specific challenges. Key interests include water environment, health risk assessment, and population health.
