Stephan Ulrich

Prof. Stephan Ulrich is a Professor of Design and Mechatronics at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of the Bundeswehr Munich since October 2024. He previously studied physical engineering at Technische Universität Berlin and earned his doctorate at Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg (HSU/UniBw H), focusing on electrorheological fluids for active vibration decoupling. His research emphasizes practical solutions for industrial applications, including modular actuator-sensor systems for soft robotics and automation in logistics/production.
