Stephan Moebius is a University Professor of Sociological Theory and Intellectual History at the Institute of Sociology, Karl-Franzens-University Graz. He is a full member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Philosophical-Historical Class) and recipient of the Ars-Docendi State Prize for Excellent Teaching in 2017. His research focuses on the history of sociology, cultural sociology, and intellectual history.
