Professor Stephan Ivanov Ivanov serves as Head of the Department of Automation, Information and Control Technology within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics at Technical University - Gabrovo. With a Doctorate in Technical Sciences, he has established himself as a leading researcher in sensor systems and industrial automation. His academic career spans over two decades with continuous contributions to both theoretical and applied research.

Dr. Ivanov's research focuses on the intersection of microcontroller technology, programmable logic devices, and sensor systems. His work particularly emphasizes humidity and gas sensors, electronic nose technology, and the application of artificial neural networks in fire detection and food quality assessment.
