Stephan Gruber

Stephan Gruber is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies, affiliated with the Department of Economic Sociology. His work bridges political economy, economic sociology, and Latin American studies, with a focus on expectations in economic systems and the history of economic thought.

Gruber earned a BA in Economics (2007–2012) and an MA in Philosophy (2015–2017) from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. His research intersects theoretical and empirical analyses of economic institutions, particularly central banks and Latin American political economies.
