Stella Kaczmarek

Dr. Stella Kaczmarek is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Music Education and Head of the Department of Music Therapy at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. She earned her doctoral degree in music pedagogy in 2012 from the University of Paderborn under Prof. Heiner Gembris, specializing in musical talent research at the Institute for Research in Musical Abilities (IBFM).

Her work includes applications of active music therapy in psychosomatic illnesses, cultural management, and practice structures for musically gifted youth.

She contributes to interdisciplinary fields such as mental training for musicians, cultural education, and applied music therapy, bridging pedagogical and clinical approaches.
