Steffen Arnold

Prof. Dr. Steffen Arnold is a Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Social Work at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Villingen-Schwenningen. Holding a professorship in Social Economy, he combines academic leadership with research expertise in nonprofit management, healthcare economics, and social sector strategy.

Arnold’s research focuses on Nonprofit Management, Quantitative Social Research, and Corporate Health Management, with particular emphasis on strategic planning in health and social care sectors. His recent publications analyze controlling mechanisms in social economy organizations, digital transformation, and dual education models.

Current trends in his work include data-driven decision-making in social institutions and pandemic recovery strategies for educational delivery. Arnold actively contributes to professional discourse through memberships in the Association for Social Economy, Hochschullehrerbund (Baden-Württemberg), and the Federal Working Group for Social Management.
