Stefano Rossi is a Full Professor in the Finance Department at Bocconi University, where he holds the Generali Chair in Insurance and Risk Management. He has held academic positions at prestigious institutions including the Stockholm School of Economics, Cornell University, Imperial College, and Purdue University.
Education:
- BA and MSc in Economics from Bocconi University, Milan
- PhD in Finance from London Business School
Research Interests span corporate governance, bankruptcy and financial distress, debt financing, international finance, sovereign borrowing, innovation financing, and quantitative trading. His work appears in top journals including The Journal of Finance, The Journal of Financial Economics, and The Review of Financial Studies, with notable awards from the European Corporate Governance Institute.
