Stefano Donati

Stefano Donati is a Senior Researcher and CO-PI at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability, Technical University of Denmark (DTU), where he contributes to the DTU Microbes Initiative and C1 Systems Biology Autoflow program. His work focuses on systems biology approaches to metabolic engineering, particularly in one-carbon (C1) metabolism and microbial cell factory optimization.

Donati supervises two PhD students and leads projects related to optimizing microbial cell factories for C1 conversion. He developed the QurvE software for growth data analysis and presented his work on automated multi-omics screening at international conferences.
