Stefano Carabelli serves as a Researcher at the Department of Automatic Control and Computer Science (DAUIN) within the College of Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin. His extensive teaching portfolio includes continuous involvement in the Mechatronics Doctoral College since 2003 (19th cycle) through 2012 (28th cycle), and he has served as Course Collaborator for Automatic Control and Fundamentals of Electric Drives across multiple academic years from 2006 to 2025 in both Electrical Engineering and Automotive Engineering programs.
His research interests span Automatic Control, Mechatronics, Electric Drives, and Vehicle Electrification systems. Carabelli leads the LIM - Mechatronics research group at DAUIN, focusing on advanced control applications in automotive and aerospace domains. His work demonstrates a consistent trajectory from fundamental rotor dynamics and robotic systems toward contemporary electric vehicle technologies and Industry 4.0 applications.
