Prof. Dr. Stefanie Rinderle-Ma is a full professor for Information Systems and Business Process Management at the Department of Informatics, Technical University of Munich (TUM). Prior to TUM, she held a full professorship at the University of Vienna, leading the Research Group Workflow Systems and Technology. Her research focuses on process-oriented information systems, flexible/distributed process technologies, compliance management, production intelligence, and process mining. She has authored numerous publications in top journals and conferences, including Information Systems and BPM.
Education and Career:
- Studied Business Mathematics at the University of Augsburg.
- Completed her doctorate and habilitation at the University of Ulm.
- Postdoctoral stays in the Netherlands and Canada.
- Headed the Workflow Systems and Technology research group at the University of Vienna before joining TUM in 2021.
