Stefanie Lemke

Univ.Prof. Dr. Stefanie Lemke is a full professor and head of the Institute of Development Research at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU). Her work focuses on the intersection of food security, gender equality, and sustainable rural development, with fieldwork in Ethiopia, South Africa, Uganda, and India. She leads projects funded by the European Commission and national institutions, emphasizing participatory methods and rights-based frameworks.
