Stefania Boffano is a Lecturer at Bocconi University and Assistant to the Director of CLMG. She holds a PhD in Tax Law and is a practicing tax lawyer. Her academic roles include teaching Tax Law and Public Finance courses across multiple programs, including the Master in Management of Social Enterprises and the School of Specialization for Legal Professions at Bocconi and the University of Pavia. She also serves as Adjunct Professor and has contributed to Bocconi’s Summer School in Law.
Her education includes a Law degree from the University of Pavia (magna cum laude) and a PhD in Tax Law. She previously served as Past President of the Association Alumnae of Santa Caterina College in Pavia. Her research focuses on fiscal policies, tax law reforms affecting non-profit organizations, and legal frameworks governing taxpayer-fiscal authority interactions.
Boffano’s publications analyze topics such as fiscal incentives during emergencies, property tax equity, EU tax competition, and third-sector taxation. Her work bridges legal scholarship with practical implications for public finance and policy.
She has been actively involved in developing curricula for specialized legal and tax programs, emphasizing the intersection of law, taxation, and socio-economic policy. Her contributions extend to guiding students through complex tax litigation procedures and regulatory compliance challenges.
