Stefania Agliano is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Field Liaison in the School of Social Work at Sacred Heart University. She holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University (2001), a Bachelor of Social Work from Central Connecticut State University (1999), and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Education/Organizational Leadership at Northeastern University. Her expertise spans child welfare, anti-oppression practices, gender-based violence prevention, and anti-trafficking education. She is co-founder of I AM Training and Consultation Group, providing prevention curricula and training for child welfare organizations.

Her research outputs focus on bridging gaps between policy, practice, and community needs in high-risk populations. She actively collaborates with educational institutions and child welfare agencies to design impactful prevention tools.
