Stefan Stieglitz

Prof. Dr. Stefan Stieglitz is a Professor of Professional Communication in Electronic Media / Social Media at the University of Duisburg-Essen, affiliated with the School of Business and Economics and leading the Research Group Communication and Collaboration Management at the University of Münster. His work bridges academic research and practical implementation across social media analytics, cloud technologies, and digital education.

• Education: Completed a doctorate in Business Economics at the University of Potsdam (2003-2008) and studied Business Economics at the Universities of Cologne, Paderborn, and Potsdam (1998-2003).

Research Interests: Focus on Social Media Analytics, Enterprise Social Networking, Mobile Enterprise Education, and Collaboration Management. His studies examine how digital platforms reshape organizational processes, political communication, and educational environments.
