Dr. Stefan Sebök serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Aquatic Ecophysiology and Phycology working group at the University of Hamburg's Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Natural Sciences. He is affiliated with the Institute of Plant Sciences and Microbiology within the Department of Biology.
His research focuses on the physiological processes of aquatic organisms, particularly algae and plants in marine and freshwater environments. Dr. Sebök's work contributes to understanding how aquatic organisms adapt to environmental conditions through physiological mechanisms, with applications in ecological modeling and resource management.
Based at the Otto Warburg House (Room 2.105) at Ohnhorststrasse 18 in Hamburg, he works under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dieter Hanelt. His research connects with the department's broader focus areas including evolutionary biology, molecular and cell biology, and ecological resources.
