Stefan Rutkowski

Stefan Rutkowski is Professor and Director of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at UKE, specializing in pediatric brain tumors and molecular diagnostics. His clinical research advances treatment strategies for medulloblastoma and ependymoma.

Research emphases:

• Molecular classification of CNS tumors
• Liquid biopsy applications in neuro-oncology
• Clinical trial development for high-risk pediatric cancers
• Survivorship and late-effects management
