Prof. Stefan Knauth is a Professor of Computer Science at HFT Stuttgart, specializing in indoor positioning, IoT, sensor technology, and Industry 4.0 applications. He previously served as Deputy Head of the Ceesar Competence Center for Embedded Systems at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and worked at Siemens ICM/ICN on 3GPP software development. His research integrates geodesy, industrial computing, and digitalization in academia and business.
Education: Doctorate (Dr. rer. nat) in Physics from the University of Leipzig (2001).
