معرفی
Stefan Haas is a Professor at Forschungszentrum Jülich, working within the Institute of Energy Materials and Devices (IMD), specifically leading the Photovoltaics group (IMD-3). He is based in Building 02.6, Room 4016, at the Jülich research campus in Germany, contributing to the center's energy research mission under the Helmholtz Association.
His research centers on photovoltaic materials science and solar cell technology, with emphasis on semiconductor physics, thin-film deposition, and efficiency optimization of renewable energy systems. As part of IMD-3, he investigates next-generation solar materials including perovskite and silicon-based photovoltaics to advance sustainable energy solutions.
The Photovoltaics group operates within Forschungszentrum Jülich's structured research ecosystem, collaborating across institutes like the Institute for Energy Technologies and Peter Grünberg Institute to address fundamental challenges in energy conversion and storage. The team utilizes advanced characterization facilities including the Ernst Ruska Center for electron microscopy.
