Stefan Ambec

Stefan Ambec is a Research Professor at Toulouse School of Economics (INRAE) and leads the TSE Energy and Climate Center. He serves as Editor-in-Chief for Resource and Energy Economics and focuses on the efficiency, fairness, and societal impacts of environmental policies.

• Research Interests: Environmental economics, energy transition, climate change mitigation, water use, air quality regulation, and firm/citizen behavioral responses to policy.
• Affiliations: INRAE, Toulouse School of Economics, TSE Energy and Climate Center.

His recent work analyzes carbon leakage solutions via EU tariffs and policy effectiveness. He actively contributes to academic discourse through publications and editorial leadership.
