Stavros Sintos

Stavros Sintos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He joined UIC after a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago, where he was part of the ChiData group under Sanjay Krishnan. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Duke University in 2020, advised by Pankaj K. Agarwal.

His research focuses on designing efficient algorithms for databases, data mining, and computational geometry. Key themes include:
