Stanley Rosen is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Southern California. His research focuses on Chinese politics, film, and society, with notable expertise in soft power strategies, cultural diplomacy, and Sino-American relations. Rosen has held leadership roles including Director of the East Asian Studies Center (2005–2011) and Faculty Master at USC’s residential colleges. He has been awarded the USC Political Science Award for Teaching Excellence in 1998–1999.
