Stanislava D. Kovacheva-Veleva

Assoc. Prof. PhD Stanislava D. Kovacheva-Veleva is affiliated with the Department of Economics and Management of Natural Resources at the Faculty of Business Management, University of Forestry, Sofia. Her academic ranks include Associate Professor in Logistics Management and Administration.

• Master of Polymer Engineering, UCTM, Sofia (1987)
• PhD in Technical Sciences and Technologies (1998)

Her research focuses on logistics in industry and tourism, competitiveness, and sustainable development, with expertise in strategic management, woodworking economy, and polymer materials. She has contributed to projects like the methodology for assessing competitiveness of small furniture enterprises and the INTEGRAL project on forest landscape management.

Assoc. Prof. Kovacheva-Veleva serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief for the journals Management and Sustainable Development and Annual Student Research. She actively participates in international conferences such as EDUCATION AND ECONOMY and WHITHER OUR ЕCONOMIES.
