Stanislav Tzvetkov

Stanislav Tzvetkov, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the Vasil Levski National Sports Academy (VLSNSA), affiliated with the Faculty of Public Health, Health Care and Tourism and the Department of Sports Medicine. He holds leadership roles in functional diagnostics and has been active in academia since 2017. His career includes positions at the State Agency for Youth and Sports and NSA Vasil Levski's laboratories.

• Education: Graduated from the Medical Academy in Sofia (1998), earned a Doctorate in Sports Medicine (2010).
• Career Highlights: Senior expert at State Agency for Youth and Sports (1999–2005), Head of the "Functional Diagnostics" laboratory (2005), and competitive success as Senior Assistant (2011).

Research focuses on functional capacity assessment in elite athletes, sports medicine for youth, and training process optimization. He has authored a monograph and over 40 scientific publications. Teaching spans sports medicine courses for undergraduate and graduate programs across multiple faculties.
