Stanislav Ivanov

Prof. Stanislav Ivanov is a Vice Rector (Research) and Professor at Varna University of Management (VUM), specializing in tourism, hospitality management, and technological advancements in service industries. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Tourism Research, the first Bulgarian tourism journal indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. His research focuses on automation in tourism, AI applications, service robotics, and future trends in hospitality. Notably, he has authored influential books such as Hotel Marketing and Hotel Revenue Management, and co-edited international volumes with Routledge on topics like future tourism challenges and hotel chain management. Prof. Ivanov’s current projects explore robonomics and AI-driven tourism frameworks. He has received the prestigious Varna Award in Social Studies for his impactful research. Active globally, he has lectured at universities in the UK, USA, and Europe, and contributes to 30+ editorial boards.
