Prof. Stafilov Trajce is a Full Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia. He holds a PhD in Chemistry (1985) from the same university and has over 40 years of academic and research experience. His career includes roles as a researcher at the Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (1985–1988) and laboratory manager at Ferronickel Co. (1978–1985).

Research Interests
His work focuses on analytical chemistry, environmental pollution, geochemistry, and atomic spectroscopy. His research emphasizes environmental monitoring, heavy metal contamination, and geochemical mapping, including landmark projects like the Geochemical Atlas of the Republic of Macedonia.

Recent publications (2000–2021) highlight advancements in chemometric methods for environmental analysis, heavy metal distribution in soils and ecosystems, and trace element detection in agricultural products. His work bridges geochemical field studies with analytical methodologies.
