Stacy Tsai

Dr. Stacy Tsai serves as Associate Professor and Associate Program Director for the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Board-certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she directs subspecialty training while maintaining an active clinical practice in high-risk obstetrics.

Her educational background includes:

Dr. Tsai's work centers on improving outcomes for complex pregnancies through evidence-based management of obstetric complications, prenatal diagnosis, and maternal comorbidities. Her clinical research addresses perinatal health disparities within Hawaiʻi's diverse population, with emphasis on culturally tailored interventions for high-risk patients. She actively contributes to advancing maternal-fetal care standards in Pacific Islander communities through her academic practice.

As Fellowship Associate Program Director, Dr. Tsai mentors Maternal-Fetal Medicine trainees in clinical decision-making, surgical management, and research methodology. She integrates her MPH and MCR training into curriculum development, emphasizing population health perspectives and rigorous clinical investigation in fellowship education.
