Stacy Ellen, DO is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Assistant Dean of Medical Student Affairs at Drexel University College of Medicine. She holds dual roles as a pediatrician at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and an academic leader in medical education. Her responsibilities include advising students across campuses, directing pediatric and primary care pathways, and overseeing clinical rotations for residents and medical students.
Education: Earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Professional Development: Completed Cohort 9 of the Academic Pediatrics Association's Educational Scholars Program (graduated 2022).
Research & Teaching: Focuses on medical student mentorship, advocacy in pediatrics, and curriculum development. Directed the Outpatient Pediatrics and Advocacy senior elective since 2015, and mentored 21-32 students annually through the Pediatric Pathway program since 2018. Recognized with the Golden Apple Award (2019) for teaching excellence.
