Stéphanie Merle is a Visiting Lecturer and Research Assistant at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCLouvain), affiliated with the Louvain Polytechnic School (EPL) and the Electrical Engineering Center (ELEN). She is also associated with the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Electronics and Applied Mathematics (ICTEAM) and the Institute for the Analysis of Change in Contemporary and Historical Societies (IACCHOS).
Her research interests span interdisciplinary fields, including Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies, and Social Sciences, particularly focusing on historical and contemporary societal changes.
