Stéphane AURAY is a Full Professor (part-time) in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Rennes School of Business. He holds a PhD in Economics from Toulouse School of Economics (2003) and an Agrégation du Supérieur (2008). His research focuses on macroeconomics, open economy dynamics, trade policies, labor economics, and the economics of wars. He has held academic positions at UQAM, Concordia, Lille 3, ULCO, and Ensai. His professional service includes roles such as Head of the Department of Economics at Ensai, membership in the CNRS national council, and editorial roles for journals like the European Economic Review and Annals of Economics and Statistics. His work spans theoretical and applied macroeconomics, with a focus on international trade, monetary policy, and economic inequality. Recent publications address trade wars, unemployment insurance models, and the macroeconomic impacts of lockdown policies.
