Srinivasan Vedantham

Dr. Srinivasan Vedantham serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at UMass Chan Medical School and the T.H. Chan School of Medicine. With expertise spanning biomedical engineering and clinical radiology, his research focuses on advancing medical imaging technologies, particularly in breast cancer detection and diagnosis.

Dr. Vedantham earned his MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Akron and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. These educational foundations have equipped him with the interdisciplinary knowledge necessary to bridge engineering principles with clinical radiology applications.

His primary research focus centers on advanced breast imaging technologies, with particular expertise in dedicated cone-beam breast CT systems.
