Spring Saldana

Spring Saldana serves as the Massage Therapy Program Chair and Assistant Professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University's College of Health & Wellness. She holds certifications as a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist (CNMT), Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (CMLDT), Reiki Master, and Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). Her teaching focuses on courses such as Business & Practice Management, Pathology, and Relaxation Massage techniques.

Education: BA from Oral Roberts University, followed by certifications in massage therapy and related modalities. She is actively involved in continuing education, leading national seminars on trigger point therapy and diversity/inclusion in healthcare.

Research interests emphasize massage therapy's role in holistic healing and educational methodologies. Awards include the 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year award. She chairs multiple committees, including the Massage Therapy Curriculum Committee and Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (AFMTE) Leadership Development Committee.
