Spomenka Đurić is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics and Statistics, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade. She teaches courses related to biostatistics, research methodology, and veterinary management, including Biostatistics and Informatics in Biomedical Sciences and Economics and Management in Veterinary Medicine.
Her research focuses on Biostatistics, Veterinary Economics, and Animal Health Management. She investigates environmental impacts on animal health, disease transmission dynamics, food safety, and nutritional composition of aquatic species. Her work often employs statistical modeling and interdisciplinary approaches.
Recent publications highlight her expertise in seasonal nutritional analysis of mussels, control strategies for vector-borne diseases, and heavy metal accumulation in wildlife. She also explores food safety standards and economic efficiency in aquaculture.
