Wolfgang Spohn is a Professor holding the Chair of Philosophy and Philosophy of Science at the University of Konstanz since 1996. He previously held academic positions at the Universities of Bielefeld, Regensburg, and Munich, including roles as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.
Education:
- PhD in Foundations of Decision Theory (University of Munich, 1976)
- Habilitation in Theory of Causality (University of Munich, 1984)
His research spans systematic philosophy, focusing on epistemology, philosophy of science, metaphysics, philosophy of mind and language, philosophical logics, and practical rationality, particularly decision and game theory. He has authored 3 books, 8 book editions, and 97 papers.
