Sourav Bhattacharjee

Sourav Bhattacharjee is a Research Associate at the Chair of IT for the Ageing Society, University of Siegen, since January 2024. He holds a Master's in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Siegen (2020-2023) and a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Prior to academia, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at AfriGIS (2012-2019).

His research focuses on participatory approaches in healthcare technology, digital fabrication, and workplace health promotion. Bhattacharjee employs qualitative methods to develop human-centered solutions in complex environments.

Publications demonstrate strong emphasis on co-creation methodologies, resilience in conflict settings, and health interventions. Recent work examines adaptive socio-technical systems in Palestinian refugee contexts.
