Sorina Teleanu

Sorina Teleanu is a Visiting Professor at the EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies Department of the College of Europe. She currently serves as Director of Knowledge at DiploFoundation in Geneva, Switzerland. Her expertise spans 15 years in internet and digital policy, including roles in policymaking, research, and stakeholder engagement.

Previously, she advised the Romanian Parliament on ICT legislation and represented Romania in ICANN’s Governmental Advisory Committee (2011–2016). She chaired SEEDIG’s Executive Committee and was a member of the UN Secretary-General’s IGF Multistakeholder Advisory Group. Teleanu holds a BA and MA in International Relations and European Studies from Lucian Blaga University, Sibiu, Romania.

Her research focuses on digital governance, multistakeholder collaboration, and EU digital policies. She has contributed to global internet governance frameworks through IGF and SEEDIG initiatives.
