Sophy Smith is a Senior Lecturer at De Montfort University’s Leicester Media School within the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media. She leads the transdisciplinary Masters in Creative Technologies (MA/MSc) and conducts research at the intersection of digital arts, technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Research Focus: Interdisciplinary pedagogy, Hip-Hop turntablism, and social media’s role in professional arts practice.
