Sophie Stocker

Associate Professor Sophie Stocker is affiliated with the Sydney Pharmacy School (University of Sydney), St Vincent’s Hospital (Honorary Senior Hospital Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology), and the Garvan Medical Research Institute. She also serves as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the St Vincent’s Clinical School, University of New South Wales.

Research Focus: Her work spans clinical pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, pharmacometrics, and therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM). Key areas include optimizing diabetes therapies through metformin pharmacogenomics, managing gout via urate-lowering strategies, and improving antimicrobial dosing in critically ill patients.
