Sophie Rabenow

Sophie Rabenow serves as an Associated Researcher (academic rank: Researcher) and doctoral candidate at the Dubnow Institute for Jewish History and Culture, Leipzig University, affiliated with the international graduate college "Belongings: Jewish Material Culture in Twentieth-Century Europe and Beyond" and the Law research department.

Her doctoral project "Places of Jewish Knowledge – The Wissenschaft des Judentums and its Material Sites in Berlin’s Urban Landscape, 1871–1961" investigates physical manifestations of Jewish scholarly traditions within Berlin's evolving cityscape across critical historical periods including Imperial Germany, Weimar Republic, Nazi era, and early Cold War divisions.
