Sophie Lewis is an ARC DECRA Fellow at the College of Science, Australian National University (ANU). Her research focuses on climate finance, law and development, and international institutions, with affiliations to the 'Extreme events and future scenarios' and 'Low carbon and resilient cities' research groups. She contributes to interdisciplinary efforts addressing climate policy, energy systems, and disaster resilience.
As part of ANU's Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions (ICEDS), Lewis engages in collaborative projects aimed at informing climate and energy policy. Her work bridges legal frameworks and climate science, emphasizing practical solutions for sustainable development and institutional governance.
