Sophie Joffredo Le Brun

Sophie Joffredo Le Brun is a Lecturer in Educational Sciences at the University of Nantes (UCO), affiliated with the Faculty of Education and the Department of Educational Sciences. She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Western Brittany (2016) and a Master's in Research in Educational Sciences from the University of Rennes 2. Her roles include Head of L2 Educational Sciences and Head of the Department of Educational Sciences at the Nantes campus. She co-leads the 'Hot Questions in Training' research axis within the LIRFE team and represents EU research initiatives.

Her research focuses on mathematics teaching in elementary schools, cooperative didactic engineering, student experience continuity, and the role of digital technology in fostering autonomy. Notable projects include the ACE network (Cooperative Engineering), the DEEC ANR project on educational effectiveness, and the E-fran IDEE initiative on digital tools for student autonomy.

She actively contributes to international conferences and serves on scientific committees for events like the TACD Congress.
